Can't believe this film was made 33 years ago, still a cracker.

Two words. 'Ground Breaker'
Two more words: 'chest burster'. 'Nuff said. How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

great film and really does still look good after all this time.0 -
Best of the series and does hold up really well.
Will have to see if Ridley's delivered the goods again with Prometheus. 3D though. Please Ridley, no!
Okay can watch it 2D but it was actually shot with 3D cameras rather than the vast majority that are converted to 3D in Taiwanese sweat shops just to bring in extra cash. If it's designed and shot to be 3D then supposed it should be watched as such, but I don't feel 3D films are right. Problem is, aside from the headache issues, in the real world our eyes focus on things as we look on them. In a 3D film the focus is set to the filmaker's choice. Look at a particular object and it won't refocus and can cause eye strain as the eyes try to focus. This is partly why people get headaches and it gives an unnatural 3D and 'floating' element effect. So there, 3D rant over :P0 -

Prometheus got ripped up for arse paper last night on The Review show."There's a shortage of perfect breasts in this world, t'would be a pity to damage yours."0 -
I will be going to see Prometheus in the next few days so will find out soon. Somehow though I think the original will not be surpassed."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0
