I have a hoodoo and I am 99.9% sure the front wheel is a write off after hitting a large ditch, i.e. won't spin through the fork at all, looks like a banana and had trouble already with the wheel untrueing soon after having it.

I need to replace the front wheel and looking at maybe just doing this (as cheap as possible) but not sure to look at complete wheelset as an upgrade but looking at a fairly low budget and was wondering if it is worth doing. For a complete wheelset looking around £100, £150(absolete max and negotiating with the better half) which on CRC gets something from MT15 to MT55. Have also looked at Superstar and other brands such as Fulcrum.

So, at this budget will it be much of an upgrade or is it best looking at a cheapish 2nd front wheel.

Also, I've tried researching a bit but I take the MT15 is up to trail/AM duties and a 19mm rim (most rims seem to be this size I've looked at) will take the ardents?
