    Morning all.

Quiet day in work and lots on my mind. My girlfriend is training to be a teacher and got a job yesterday. WooHoo :D
Only trouble is is that it's in Minehead and there are no job options there for me and I don't want to spend most of my day commuting. Coupled with the fact i have a secure and well paid job in Cardiff.
So my head is well and truely in the shed today as i have a lot to think about and really don't know what to do.

She secondary or primary mate? Mrs G is a teacher although she works supply now after moving up here?

She's secondary teaching History. I'm really happy for her as she's worked her ass off just feeling a bit headshot as I don't want to leave a good job and not have anything to go to

yeah its a tough one, good luck with it. Can't you get get a speedboat? Cardiff Minehead 30 mins

Count yourself lucky. At least yours can get a job!! Mrs A has had several interviews and been turned for the lot....she may have to widen her net, In which case we maybe in the same boat!

Yeah I'm not knocking it she applied for lots and heard nothing back and there's not many jobs about to start with. It's not a nice position to be in at the moment having to look for jobs.

If she's an NQT there seems to be a few jobs about down here at the moment. Lot's of schools merging etc and they want to fill posts with NQT's rather than more experianced teachers. The ball and chain is a teacher (albeit IT & Business and not History) but she's been tempted to apply for about 4 different jobs since the turn of the year. Just happens she's happy where she is at the mo. She was an NQT 3 years ago and got a job within 2 months of finishing college.

Mrs A is going for primary years. She was turned away for a couple of grammatical errors in the application form. She was the best in the interview but fell at the last hurdle..... School employment is f*cking ruthless!

Good day all round really. Blasted though enough work this morning to finish at 1. Picked up my new bike. Son discharged from bum hospital. Missus not yet noticed new bike that she doesn't know about even though it's in the lounge with the others.

Oh yeah and got an interview for the job I applied for the other day. Need to prepare a presentaion though, never had to do that for an interview yet so should be interestingly nervewracking.

Evenin' all, a decent day at work, spent most of the afternoon sorting out getting a demo bike to it's rightful owner and retrieving one of my custom builds, wrong labels on the bloody boxes despite being clearly marked in black marker pen on the boxes. That's a nice trip for a colleague at stupid o'clock tomorrow morning.

Still alls well that ends well...

An evening on my tod with a drinky poo or ten I reckon.

    Love n hugs
