has anyone ever used these rims for xc and trail riding? Are they any good?

    Not used those but I have got DT Swiss EX500 all mountain rims and they appear to be made from cheese worst rims I have owned.

    While we're on about dt swiss rims , can any one tell me if the ex 5.1 is still a current rim ? can see it listed on there sit,e but some shops still list them, i have one on the front and would like to upgrade my rear wheel to some thing similar, whats dt's equvilant if the dt 5.1 is not available please.
