Garmin Edge 800 - HR transmitter range?

Can anyone comment on how far the Garmin Edge 800's HRM transmitter can be from the GPS before the signal is lost? For example, if you stop for a p in the bushes, or drop into a shop for a cheese stick - do you lose your HR data for that time?

    I'd say it was probably pretty good - judging by the number of 'cadence sensor' detected messages I get when out riding on the fixed in winter, even from across duel carriageways! Are you concerned of losing you peeing heart rate or are you some kind of sick/weird triathlete that wants to park your bike and run circles around it in some bizarre cross training ritual?!
