Canyon has launched a new carbon-the-fully for all-mountain and cross country use Canyon Nerve CF. Also: The Grand Canyon CF SLX 29 carbon hardtail. There are many pictures and all the details.

The Fully MTB Canyon Nerve CF is designed as a lightweight carbon-fully for all-mountain and cross country use. The Nerve CF is based on the predecessor Canyon Nerve AL with aluminum frame. However, the MTB geometry has been adjusted to take advantage of the carbon material to exploit.

The Canyon Nerve CF has flexing seatstays. Consequently, as opposed to the aluminum version, and thus material and weight savings. Headset and bottom bracket are integrated, all trains moved inside the mountain bike frames.

    Nice! The bottom shock mount is part of the chain stays rather than a bracket on the front triangle. It'll be interesting to see how much lighter they are than the similar spec Nerve XC's

    It's similar to the Trek Fuel Ex, just without the split at the rear axle. I hope the frame is about 1lb lighter (probably unrealistic).
