Hello form a newbie. Great forum BTW.
Can anyone recommend a bike (s) for my 10 year old twin girls? Budget around 150 pounds per bike. They prefer MTB and nothing too pink (so I'm told). And must be the same make and model of bike for them both to prevent warfare.

If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.
The nearest reasonably decent one that I know of is the Carrera Blast 24" at £199

Otherwise, good old Ebay but I assume that finding a pair for your will be pretty difficult
