Seized bottom bracket lock nut

I'm trying to remove my broken Truvative cranks and Truvativ square bottom bracket from my frame.
The lock nut on the driver side is seized in and the head stripped from countless attempts at trying to undo it. Even a bike workshop had a go at it but to no avail.
I have begun to drill out the screw and also had a go at surrounding crank so I can get some purchase on the screw or at least loosen the stress on the screw.
I am now considering using a hacksaw on the BB axle on the non drive side and hopefully remove the BB from the drive side. I don't need the BB or the cranks.
Any thoughts on this?

What sort of fitting is it? Can you get a vice or mole grips on it?0

As said above, if you can get it in a vice you can then use the whole frame as a lever.
A good soaking in penetrating fluid every night for a week or so may also help.0 -
Angle grinder through axel.
Or remove the non drive side crank and get a big hammer and smack the axel through the frame."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

The last bike like this in the shop all attempts at removing the bolt failed. A appointment with the angle grinder was made and the of it came.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0
