Advice on upgrading forks

Hi all,
The thread in the socked of the top nut that holds the brake mech has gone in my RockShox TORA XC Solo Airs and I'm looking at getting some new forks.
I'm looking to increase the travel to 140/150, the frame is Marin Rocky Ridge 2009 which I think should be fine with this travel (Toras were 130) and have been looking at Sektors and Revelations on line.
I've noticed some have 15mm or 20mm maxel, I'm no expert when it comes to fork spec, so I'm not sure what difference this makes but I think the Toras were 20mm, so I'm assuming I should stick with 20mm.
Anyway, as you've probably guessed, I'm after some advice on getting some new forks. Are Sektors/Revelations a good way to go? I'm not adverse to recommendations of decent older forks to save a bit of cash but I need to get them soon so I don't miss the summer.
Any advice welcome!

It's a 20mm, so I'll need 20mm then!0

That's the 2007, I have the 2009 frame but the rest is 2010 B17 spec (I bought the B17 new but found the medium too large and picked up the Rocky Ridge frame at a decent price).0 -
Are you sure it was a 20mm axled Tora XC? Tora XC did come with a 20mm axle, but are 120mm of travel, not 130mm.0

Defo 20mm, just checked the bike, sorry I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to spec.
I suppose I could just replace the lower legs but it would be nice to get something a bit better, on that note, what would be good to go for?0 -
You can always just re-thread the socket and use a larger screw/bolt
If you want new forks revs are a safe bet.0 -

Or helicoil the thread and save about £3000 -
Yep was 130mm and 20mm

Still would not go greater than 130mm of travel."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I'd go for 150 revs. Not many options at 140mm.0

If you have the extra budget go for the Revs. They are lighter and are available with more advanced internals.
You can also adjust the travel from 150mm to 120mm using internal spacers so you should be able to match the length of the fork you have currently.0
