Meta 6 with 140mm forks...will it work?

I've started a thread before looking at full sus frames, however I'm looking for info specifically on the Meta 6 frame.
Looks like this has 160mm on the back. Would this work with 140mm forks up front? The headangle on the meta is adjustable by +/- half a degree, so I could have it set up steepest with the 140mm's. I think meta 6's have 150mm on the front...also could I adjust the rear shock to compensate?

Fork travel is rather a misleading bit of info.
What was the original axel to crown height and the new axel to crown height?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Just measured on current bike looks like 525mm.....
2010 Meta 6 spec sheet says 535mm (and interestingly Meta 55 is 510mm, I expected that to be more suited to the forks)
Those measurements sound promising, especially if I run the head angle on the steepest, doubt there would any difference....0 -
Having a shorter fork will result in a steeper head angle anyway. So you may want to set the frame to the slackest head angle.0
