I'd try a narrower saddle, or try and find the same one as on the Hopper. Sometimes they just aren't right!

Or swap saddles with your son.

Thats a narrow saddle, most people are a 143. Go to a spesh dealer, get measured, they have a 30 day exchange on saddles now.

Or eat more pies and pad out your butt. That's my solution.

    ^^That is a bad idea.
What you actually need to have done is to crack your pelvis, and go into traction, to slowly widen it.
Anyway, either swap saddles with your son, or buy the same saddle as your son's bike.

I tried that falling off a dirtbike (unfortunately over a small cliff and into an Aloe (South African style cactus), which fortunately broke my fall, unfortunately I broke the bikes fall, which kindly broke my pelvis in return).
I can say it hurts quite a bit, but didn't widen at all.

You should have paid extra to have one of those screw-frame things fitted whilst it was healing. Then you could have looked like Jennifer lopez from behind.

I'd just swap your saddle for your sons for now and if your son doesn't have any problems with yours and is happy with it then you won't have to pay out on a new one .
