Would it be ok to use GT85 to degrease with? chain, cassette ect?

    not a degreaser but it can help lift some crud of parts when off the bike.

    Thanks, run out of degreaser and could do with doing the chain and cassette

    I think he means to remove crud, rather than actual grease....

    GT85 not the way to do that then take it off and scrub with soapy water if it's bad, just give it a thorough rinse to remove soap salts after.
