Any Kinesis T2/TK2 owners out there?

Looking to replace my current Kona Jake commuter/hack/light tourer.

I like the look of both of these bikes, they seem to be right in the sweet-spot of the price/performance bracket I'm after. Reviews are relatively thin on the ground, are there any personal opinions people can share?

Thanks

    Hi Mike,

Yep I've been using a T2 as a training/touring and commuter since last October. Nothing but praise for it as well: the detailing and design sets it apart from the Dolan Multicross that it replaced.
    I hope that helps!

    Cheers,

    Simon.

I've had a TK2 for a while now. Lovely frame for the price: stiff in the right places and far more comfy than you'd expect. Well worth it.

Not completely relevant but all the same...

My road bike is a Trek Madone 5.9 however I have a Kinesis Crosslight T4 which I use for off road and winter. I find it to be a really good ride. Geometry suits and it does what I need it to. Would heartily recommend Kinesis as a brand.

Thanks very much for the feedback. Looks like I'll be giving myself an early birthday present in that case!

I've had a Tk for nearly 4 years now; it's what the Tk2 was before they changed the paint job and increased the head tube length.

Lovely frame, surprisingly light, very durable paint finish. I could only afford one bike, but wanted to ride it all year round, so it had to take proper mudguards. At the same time come summer the guards come off and I have a pretty racy beast.

    Hi

I had a TK2 as my do it all bike and was very happy with it (until I had an unfortunate meeting with the rear end of a Saab :D ). Used it for all my riding and did a couple of touring holidays with panniers. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, however have used the opportunity to upgrade to a Granfondo Ti  which I pick up tonight

I ride a T2 on my commute, really happy with it. Surprisingly comfy for an alu frame.
