    you mean a trouser guard?

    or a bash ring?

if bash they are about 6o quid on CRC Blackspire Big ring.

if touser get the cranks that come with the stupid plastic ring that breaks as soon as you go of road.

    or shorts or clips.

You can get Shimano rings with 5 holes for a trouser guard, or Truvativ with 4, I have a Truvativ set on my retro so I can use it as a 'jump on' pub bike. You can get the Trubvativ guards for about £7, it comes with the bolts so just look for a Truvativ ring with 4 holes!
