SRAM MRX Pro twist shifters - 9 speed?

Does anyone know if this mythical object actually exists?

I have been on SRAM's web site, which claims the MRX Pro shifters can be had in 7, 8 or 9 speed options, but my (very good) LBS has phoned a couple of suppliers who they usually deal with, and no one knows what I am talking about.

I have done the google search thing, and have found what appears to be a 9 speed shifter that is not the ridiculously priced Attack, but the photo is not an MRX Pro.

I tried an e-mail to SRAM Europe, but they do a very fine job of not letting you know their e-mail address, so it may well be that my e-mail is sitting in a spam folder somewhere.

So if anyone can confirm or deny the existence of a 9 speed MRX Pro shifter, I would very much appreciated it.

Don't know who your LBS. have been in contact with as there is only one supplier into UK. Fisher outdoor.

There is the centera 9 spd twist shift on the first page so I guess that I why they have not brought the MRX Pro into the UK.

    Excellent!

I was in the shop when the lad made the phone calls, and the only shifters he was offered were the Attack 9 speed. I'm dropping in there today to pick up some shoes, so I'll have a chat with him about the Centera shifters.

    Thanks.

I have X0 9speed shifters, if your running Shimano mechs, you can get Shimano grip shifts or the others mentioned.

I was looking at the MRX's as I have the 7 speed version on my Yates Diabolo, and really like the light / fast action.

In the end I have ordered a 3 x 9 set of Attack shifters from Germany, at about half the price they are in the UK.
