Doesn't get dark till 10pm now, oh how easily we forget November and her cruel sister January.

Going home tonight to ride a big hill till it get dark!

17:02 and I've already drunk half a bottle of red wine. I'd better not go out on the bike tonight. Still that's it for me, no more alcohol (tonight).

So Club ride at 9:15 tomorrow morning (my 2nd don't you know), and I'm meeting Adam!

I was out Saturday, Sunday and yesterday. Tonight I'm off for a pint and I'll be back out tomorrow.

It's nice being able to pick and choose the days I ride to suit me rather than when the weather isn't shite.

I decided to have a quick hour at 8.45 this morning after dropping the kids off, and get into work an hour late. Ended up doing 3 hours in beautiful weather, on quiet lanes and just loved it - proper summer kit too. Having to make up for it tonight though by doing the work I should have done this morning but I don't care!!! Might do the same tomorrow - though we've got fog forecast.

I set out on a 7 mile trip to pick the car up from a garage in Derby....... i ended up doing near on 60 miles pulling in Alton, Oakamoor, Ilam and Ashbourne. Perfect weather, hot with a bit of wind to cool you down.

Same here - spontaneous 20 mile mahoosif hill route addition to the route home tonight with a friend from work - top stuff.

What was the icing on the cake was the spontaneous bottle of bubbly upon my arrival at home with the delicious Victoria - nice.

38 miles tonight in just under 2 hours. Didn't even need to leave work early!

    Brilliant isn't it.

Up early & done an hour before wokr, quick ride home & a night with the kids & already got a run organised with some mates for tomorrow night.

Love summer although being stuck in a 35 degree office isn't good.

I was loving the weather yesterday; had a 2 hour ride to build up the tan-lines then went to watch the Halfords Tour Series in Oxford and it was still 25C at 7pm!

    Amazing!

I was thinking about you last night as we ground our way up Cromford Hill and back down Via Gellia

    See you later.

Just take it easy and rest. Perhaps watch a film in bed?

Managed over 120 miles since Saturday - noted that last night I was out in short sleeves for the first time this year, can't actually remember wearing them at all in 2011!
    Keep it coming!
