Right.

Every time I go cycling, my nose goes red afterwards.

I've tried everything - sun-block, moisturiser, the lot.

It even goes red when I've cycled in the middle of the night.

It takes probably a day or two for it to go away again, if I don't cycle.

a) does anyone else have this?

b) does anyone know what causes it? I think it might be windburn - but then why only my nose, and I don't cycle that fast.

My dad gets a red nose quite often, the Docs diagnosed a fungal infection. Maybe it's that? He's got some weird paste he has to put on at night, makes him look like an Aussie surfer from the early 90's.

I don't know if I get a red nose but I do get a very runny nose, I constantly have to blow snot rockets and spit whilst on the bike... What out behind on a club run! When I tried out one of those pollution masks, the mess underneath it was unbelievable, my nose just ran and ran... I think they call it exercise induce rhinitis or something...

Myth actually. The 'drinkers nose' has nothing to do with long hydraulic lunches and everything to do with that fungal infection.

Yeah my dad, has never had a proper drink in his life. Doesn't like the taste. I don't drink because I don't like getting into trouble or hangovers.

Probably, my dads has never gone away really (it's much better at the moment but that's because he's got lymphoma, not a reccomended cure)

If you leave it untreated you could end up like this

    B.

But, there might be some growth if left untreated? I don't know. I'm not a doctor or a pool man.

I've had it now for maybe 3 years.

It bothers me more now than it used to for some reason.

It's probably because you're getting old and your looks are fading. You need all the help you can get these days ;)

That or you've got more time to think about it now you don't do any work.

    It's obviously this.

That and the green chinos I bought seem to bring it out more.
