hi guys...recently i bought a via nirone 7 and this is my first road bike...its a size 57...after a few runs i think i want to try a shorter stem..the bike came with a 120mm stem and im thinking of going for a 100mm one...im not expecting big changes in the way it handles, i just want to reach the hoods in a more comfy way...needless to say that after adjusting my seat height to where it should be at my LBS i found it to have a 4cm!!! difference from all the math types available (inseam and so on..) should i go for the 100mm stem??
thanx!!!
thanx!!!

My bike came with a 100mm stem and I was suffering from sore sholders and neck, I bought a deda zero1 80mm stem for £15 from wiggle and see it as one of the best upgrades. I no longer suffer a sore neck and sholders and the general fit just seems so much better.
I would defo recommend it as just a small 2cm difference, makes a huge difference in your riding position.0 -
Try reversing it first
