Hello all, I'm going to buy a couple of slightly used Cannondales for me and mrs and we want to take them for couple of weeks holiday. Got a hitch on my car so likely i'm going to need a bike rack that fits it. Now I see so many different models like a single pole and some V shaped... and the prices are all way apart... from 100 up to 400 bucks... can anyone tell me if the cheaper brands less than 150 are ok and which is a good brand?

If you don't mind losing the tow ball, then the Halfords racks where the bike stands on it's wheels are great, made by Thule, almost as light as the latest Thule and pretty bomb proof.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Thanks for the tip, I guess i'd have to look at Thule then, I'm in the U.S. and can't find halfords here online?0 -
You will not. ( Halfords is a retail franchise in the UK).
Just get a Thule tow bar mounted they work.
