got a proper camera so here's a better picture of it:

also found my old bashguard so i decided to use it as a "taco" bashguard to protect the chainring when the shock goes through it's travel. i cut the bash guard pretty much in half then used a shimano saint chainring bolt through one of the dedicated holes. you can buy one similar like to what i made but it's £20 for a piece of plastic!

    here's some close ups:

You got all that bike for 550 quid?? That's an epic find if you did! Or did the frame cost 550 quid? I had an Intense and I absolutely love the suspension. Howard is another BR member with an SS and it's very nice to ride, I likes it a lot. Congrats on getting something epic, now get in the steez.

550 for the bike would be too good to be true :P. yeah 550 for the frame with headset, shock and seatpost

indeed, i love the suspension. good for pedalling but work great when it gets rough

awesome! have ridden them everything from hard pack and dusty trails to sloppy mud. they're perfect for dry and damp conditions, i would rather run a wet scream on the front if it's really muddy. but yeah, imo they are better than the high rollers and seem to last longer. had them since september last year, rode most weekend and they are still in great condition

Top looking bike Jay! always been a fan of the Slopestyle, why they discontinued the newer one is anyones guess! wouldn't mind having one tbh, if I get more into DH over the next few years at uni I may well be tempted, either one of these or a blur 4x for ragging about on.

  • How do you find the totems?

I'll be investing in some if CRC can't give me an answer on some zocchi's!

not been on a proper ride but damn they are smooth and solid. mine have high and low speed compression and flood gate adjustments so you can really set them to how you want them to behave.

i managed to get these for just £250 in pristine condition from pinkbike and are a lot better than my 66s. i'll tell you more once i give them a good test ride tommorow

went riding yesterday and these are easily the best forks i've had. smooth and solid feel. great range of adjustments and just overall awesome forks. defiantly my choice of long travel single crown forks
