About 100m before the millbank/VBR jUnction.

Went past around 6, and saw the world of police, sirens and a bulance turn up.

CPR was being applied :(
What do you mean you think 64cm is a big frame?

Saw that, not pleasant. Seen a few people being given CPR roadside in my time, mostly motorbikers, it usually aint a good sign sadly.

Shoot. They were just laying out the bollards on the westbound stretch as I went through. Didn't see what it was for, though.

    "It stays down, Daddy."
    "Exactly."
  • Awful. I always think of who they're going home to :-(
Why? Because I'm guaranteed a seat all the way in.

CPR is never a good sign, but it works so hopefully all will be well with the cyclist.
Sounds like they were in good hands, so lets hope everything works out OK.

Any signs as to what happened? Just can't imagine a wider, safer bit of cycle lane is all.

More often than not if I come across a serious accident it tends to be on that stretch.

I think it's a combination of the speed people carry onto it, the lights bunching riders up, and people thinking the above so gunning for it.

The craziest cycling I see on my average commute is on the mario-kart blue strip.

:( hope this isnt as bad as it sounds... fingers crossed for the rider...

this was on grosvenor road , west bound, 100m ish after VB?

there is always a huge number of cyclists that congregate at VB lights... the weather is going to bring even more riders out now.

stay safe everyone... a pedestrian nearly walked into me this morning

It seemed way short of the lights, hate to speculate on something so serious but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a moped/motorbike jumping in the lane.
