Aerobars...

I recently bought a set of aerobars off this forum stupidly not realising they are for standard size bars instead of oversized. This means I can use them but only up to a certain point before the bar gets thicker (and this is quite a wide clamp area).

Now the dilemma is I quite like these aerobars (shape and style) but I can't get them close enough to really reap the benefits.

The question is do I just sell them and try and get similar ones in a larger clamp size or do I go crazy and buy standard size bars and a shim for my stem?

Thanks

Mike

    what bars are they?

is an OS clamp available as a spare part?

FSA Vision Team TriMax I believe. The clamp is actually part of the bar (there is a cut out for it) and then another bit screwed on so there's no way to buy a new clamp.

keep whatever is most expensive/comfortable replace the other bits. that's what i'd do.
