Very sad. The disco stuff I could take or leave but those late sixties albums, from 'First' to 'Odessa' are just incredible. I've spent many a drunk evening haranguing friends and family to listen to those albums.

a real shame - he did look very ill the last time he was on the news and by all accounts he was a really nice geezer. rip

Massachusetts was my first favorite Bee Gees tune. I remember feeding coins to the jukebox at a restaurant near 168th St and St Nicholas Ave in NYC to play it.

Really sad news. Like others on here I was much more a fan of their late 60's stuff, particularly the first album. RIP Robin.

Staying alive was pure disco. Stuff of legend.

    RIP.

Just heard about Donna Summer also. How sad. RIP.

that lp cover looks like John Bishop and Andy Schleck were founder members of the bee gees - great song btw

Are you sure that's not Gary Linekar on the right??

Great song? You're having a giraffe (or a Harry Braff, apparently).

    RIP Robin.

As a youngster Massachusetts was one of my favourites, another one was saved by the bell.

The Bee Gees are a lot of peoples little guilty pleasure, a bit like ABBA are.
