Hi, I have some 2010 shimano xt brakes that I want to replace the levers with new 2012 shimano xt levers. since I'm not shortening any hose, do I need to replace the barb and olive? or can I leave it intact and simply disconnect and connect the hoses to my new levers?
thanks.
thanks.

Just remove and refit....unless the olive hasn't gone in straight it will be fine.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
