Hi, I have some 2010 shimano xt brakes that I want to replace the levers with new 2012 shimano xt levers. since I'm not shortening any hose, do I need to replace the barb and olive? or can I leave it intact and simply disconnect and connect the hoses to my new levers?

thanks.

Just remove and refit....unless the olive hasn't gone in straight it will be fine.
