Been looking to pick up an Orbea Orca, just to be different. I noticed on Ebay and CL there is nothing but 2010 models.......is Orbea still around? Why so few of them? Ebay is littered with frames, all 2010 and older but very few bikes. If anyone has any info on Orbea, please share.

Thanks.

As far as im concerned there is nothing wrong with them, i had a 2010 Aqua TTG as my first road bike. I did several C2C's and LEJOG on it. I had no problems what so ever with mine - extremley good solid bike. I only got rid of it as if im honest it was just a little bit too small for me.

They may have changed their distribution arrangements in the UK, often a distributor will offload 'dead stock' when their agency agreement expires.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

There's still a fair few under Euskaltel riders and one of conti teams in the TOC were using Orca's too. Not the easiest bikes to get hold of over here though so you'll never see as many of them as Trek or Spesh.

I think Epic still do them and there's a place in market drayton too. Can't remember the name though.

I think Twenty3C still do them. If not they will need to change their team name.

If I had the money for an Orca then I wouldn't be selling it anytime soon. I have an 07 Onix, it's still going strong and it won't be having anybody else riding it till at least 2017 or I break it.

I've just bought an Orbea Onix T105 from Winstanley's bikes. It is a great bike. They sell Orca's as well.

I have to say that the Euskatel Orca is one of the best looking bikes in the pro team peloton. I would love one of them :)
