Hi all, just wondering how people find local routes. Google maps is helpful but doesn't help through woodland etc. Are there any websites where you can plan trails etc?

PEak district is a great mtb'ing area. Lots of stuff to go at and guide books aplenty.

Get OS map of where you want to ride?

Alternatively use getamap on the OS website or bikehike.co.uk has a course creator thing.

Thanks for the heads up just got myself an OS map of the area, I might need to go and get a magnifying glass as I can't make out the difference between the footpaths and bridleways. Impressed with bkehike.co.uk also.
