Fox RP2 shock bolt holes misaligned

I just got my Fox RP2 shock back from service and on trying to fit it to the bike discovered that the bolt holes at each end of the shock are not properly aligned, say 15 degrees out. Which means it won't go on the bike.
I guess there is no solution but to return it to the service company? Or maybe there is something very simple that I can do?
(I am not naming them at this stage because I want to give them the chance to put it right first, but since I have a precious MTB weekend away starting on Friday, if I was returning it to them I would want to get it posted first thing on Monday morning and cannot get in touch with them before then.)

The top hat spacers? They need pushing in flush.0

Does the bolt fit through off the bike?
Does the shock fit the frame?
Sorry trying to understand the problem."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Can't you just stick a screwdriver in each one and twist?I don't do smileys.

@cooldad - I think that is the $64 question. I really have no idea if that would work or break something.
@nicklouse - will do a photo. Took a bit of extra time since I didn't immediately realise that the wife had removed the memory card from the camera :roll:0 -

So basically either end fits in the frame, just not both at the same time.
The only diagrams I have seen are for example the photos at Steps 9 and 10 of this: http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/article/w ... ice-25701/ showing how the non-airsleeve internals are connected. There is a big square thing which may have to be loosened before possibly twisting? Sadly I have very little clue what is going on inside there as that was the whole point of getting it serviced.
Hence I am not sure whether a brute force twist would be the right thing to do or not?0 -
Err tried twisting them they could be 90 degrees out so just move them."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Yep, the shock body rotates.0

Thanks that's good to hear. I just hate the idea of speculatively using force ...0

Just for completeness that worked fine - put one end into the frame then used an allen key to twist the other end to the right orientation0

Which it totally normal."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
