This is one of those topics made on the extreme off chance that someone knows what I'm on about, and can help.

A few months ago, whilst browsing t'internet, I found an olllld portrait pic, WW2 era, think Coppi and Bartali, of a cyclist, standing on top of a mountain, seemingly at the end of a race or stage. It's one of those one's that seems to capture someone's thoughts perfectly and, whilst there's little on his face, it epitomises 'strong'- he looks like someone who goes to hell and back every day as part of the course, and could quite easily rip your arms off if you forgot it. It may have been included in an article about the background of ye olde cyclists, specifically how a lot of them started cycling to avoid the factories. Or it might not have. And now I can't for the life of me find it.

Does anyone have a clue about 'the' (ha!) pic I'm on about, and could point me in the right direction?
I'd give my right hand to be ambi-dextrous
