I've got a Hope Vision 2 light which clamps onto my handlebars.

I've just bought an Ortlieb bar bag, so now I need some way of raising the light up because it sits too low. Can anyone suggest a bracket of some description to help me elevate the light up so it shines over the bar bag rather than into the back of it?

This will work, though you might have to shim the bar as it is 25.4mm.

    Minoura also do something similar.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

no idea what the layout of that lot is, but does turning the light and its mount upside down help? I.e. so the light's underneath the bars. Never played with a bar bag so no idea.
Sometimes parts break. Sometimes you crash. Sometimes it’s your fault.

No, it would just shine into a lower part of the bag.

Carradice Super-C bar bags have a round plastic attachment to the bottom of the bag on which you can put a light.
  • I got the Topeak one and it has been fitted to my bike and used already.

    Thanks for the help redvee.
