Hi All,

Any advice???

oh cheers for that .... I would never have thought of that one
Your so clever0 -
Sorry, I was only trying to be humorous - I rarely succeed.
Without being rude, can I ask why you're back-pedalling though? I've never had to myself.0 -
Less sarcasm eh ?
You're not meant to back pedal. Pedal forwards.0 -
ok... the occasional back pedal by accident ... you know it happens
maybe to change pedal positions going into corners0 -
The odd back pedal shouldn't cause a problem so something is awry. Both rings causing the problem or a particular combo? Might be worth seeing if one ring is at fault and then checking for an errant tooth, etc. Either way, lean the bike against a wall (or ideally stick it on a turbo), rotate the cranks backwards and see if you can see what is happening, etc.0

If the chain is dirty give it a good clean.0

Sounds like the freehub may be sticking. Time for a good clean for that too maybe.0

Yepp, good shout. Easily spotted by rotating the cranks backwards when the bike is stationary0
