Rujano finally out of the running?
Thomas de Gendt: wtf?
Frankie boy, silent, but deadly.
Sky's Columbian duo in their element.

Rumours from where?
Rumour is mentioned on C-N live coverage, for one.
Cut-off for today would be around 30 - 35 minutes. Perhaps he had a "You can't fire me - I quit" moment?'This week I 'ave been mostly been climbing like Basso - Shirley Basso.'0 -

Yeah but he's been pro since he was 16! Some kids get a paper round...0 -
Wow, that was a race. Its so open. And the stongest sometimes falter. I love it. Makes the TdF look a bit dull and watered downWhen a cyclist has a disagreement with a car; it's not who's right, it's who's left.0

I just don't know what he was thinking when he attacked on the previous climb, he clearly had good legs so why do it then when you have a technical 20KM descent immediately afterwards and you descend like my granny. I think if he'd have saved that for the final climb it would have been a different story."I have a lovely photo of a Camargue horse but will not post it now" (Frenchfighter - July 2013)0 -

Are you sure, the only mention I can see of Cav is at 14:06 when they mentioned he was off the back of the main peloton. Now that may well be tautologous with saying he later missed the cut-off...0 -
Carlton Kirby just tweeted that Cav crossed the line within the time limit."I have a lovely photo of a Camargue horse but will not post it now" (Frenchfighter - July 2013)0

About 20 mins I also saw a rumour that Cavendish was out, but just heard he got in!
179 in the time limit, 2 outside.0 -
Just finished now in good time, according to my friend and yours, Carlton Kirby0
-
Can only see Guardini outside the time limit (35' 59") if my arithmetic is ok, who's the other one?
Can't see them throwing Andrea out though.
Cav safely home in the autobus.0 -
I heard Guardini was within the time limit.
And that Demare hadn't finished.
I understand it was decided Demare would start but probably drop out underway, whether it looked whether he'd make the time limit or not.0 -
Cav finished stage 14 'in good time' in a group of approx 80 riders.
David Harmon & Carlton Kirby saying that the rumours they spoke about were untrue.0 -
it's time cycling introduced the off side rule for jonny hangers like cav and his friends. sprinters bore the hell out of me and i can't see what it is that some people see in these," i ll stand on the goal" types." i ll win two stages then sod off home when the real racing takes place".0

Except cav hasn't sodded off home has he? What rule do you suggest, banning them from next year if they pull out? They pull out because they won't make the time cut. If you try to enforce a "no-quitting-without-injury" rule, they'll just go slower and intentionally get thrown out. Or just get rid of flat stages and limit professional cycling to waif like climbers?0 -
Really enjoyed that. Proper Giro stage. Whenever I see Scandinavian riders (at least by name) doing well in the rain I always think "oh yeah. Forgot they're always super when it's cold and wet".0
