Hey all I've got a 1998 GT Tequesta
Manitou Answer Forks
Shimano Deore LX Groupset (I believe)
Avid brakes and calipers
Mavic Rims
The bike is in pretty good nick, so my question is should I save up a fortune for a new bike, or upgrade the beloved. If so what should I start with. At the minute it's doing more commuting than anything else.

Leave it. It's already an over equipped commuter bike.0

Do a full retro-bike refit on it. Old kit only.
And buy a new bike anyway
