Need Help Choosing Between these 2 Bikes

OK, so I'm looking to buy a good quality all-mountain hardtail with a good quality fork for approx 1000EUR/$1250/800pounds sterling. I've managed to narrow my choice down to these 2:
1) Scott Aspect 10: http://www.scott-sports.com/global/en/p ... pect-10-l/
Main Features: Rock Shox Recon Silver TK Solo Air, 100mm; Shimano XT rear derailer, Shimano Deore front derailer; Tyres Schwalbe Rocket Ron
2) Canyon Grand Canyon AL 6.0: http://www.canyon.com/_en/mountainbikes ... tml?b=2539
Main Features: Rock Shox Reba RL Dual Air, 100mm; Shimano XT rear derailer, Shimano SLX-E front derailer; Tyres Schwalbe Nobby Nic
Main differences are the forks (Recon Silver TK vs Reba RL) and tyres. The canyon is about 200EUR more expensive but looks like a better quality bike. Can anyone comment on the performance of either bike or either fork? Is the 200EUR price difference worth the upgrade in quality? Are there any other similar mountain bikes on the market that compete within this category? And which bike would you choose?

i would say they are xc bikes not all mountain, as for the forks, the reba is in a whole different class to the reconSpecialized Hardrock Sport Disc 10- CANYON Nerve AM 6 20110

The Canyon is also lighter, and has better shifters and wheels.0

Do you think they can be used for all mountain riding though?0

Yes, if you are a skilled rider who can land well and avoid hitting big obstacles head on. But if you want a bit more damage limitation I would get a longer travel, tougher bike.
