HI, i really like this chain, but the big question is "is it really worth the money?"

It depends on how you define 'value'.
Probably not, but if you're building a superlight bike and are gramme counting, or if you particularly want the colours to compliment your bike, then yes.Science adjusts it’s beliefs based on what’s observed.
Faith is the denial of observation so that Belief can be preserved0 -
Is it the same as this one? http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/road-t ... 00000000000

Yeah if you have more money than sense...won't it be covered in in black crap after 5 minutes anyway.0

I run a gold KMC x-SL chain on my race bike - the ti-nitride coating makes it noticeably slicker and stays looking good for longer. As it only gets ridden a few hundred miles a year, they last a few years. Don't see the point of the black / red one as it'll look pants in no time. What's the point of spending a grand on your groupset and running a cr@ppy chain?Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

I'd buy it just for the box. Looks like the gun box in Face/Off0

Or you could remortgage the house and buy this one

Last week I bought the same chain in silver for less than 1/2 the price.....the gear changes seem smooth and direct...I tend not to look at the chain while rising.0
