8 speed shimano shifter with removable indicators

Hi all, after an 8 speed shimano shifter that i can remove the indicator window from. Currently have alivio, which is fine for the bike it's on, but with the Elixir brake in the position it needs to be the shifter window fouls the brake lever if that is also put where it needs to be.
Basically because of the window, i cannot have the brake and shifter in the correct place as they interfere.
Now i know on some you can remove this window, but im not sure if there are any 8 speed ones that allow you to do this. I'm really not interested in performance, i just want it to shift and be reachable on the bars!

Just removed the windows on my 8 speed XT shifters.
But they came as standard on my 1998 Specialized FSR, so not sure if anybody would have new stock LOL

I'll bet those do looking at the screw position but double check with CRC0 -
