i've noticed a couple of little cuts in my rear tyre, obviously where something has embedded in the tyre a come back out. The tyres are less than 300 miles old.

Is this something i should be immediately concerned with, or is this usually expected and be left alone?

Nothing to worry about unless stuff is still stuck in the cuts.
Open them up a bit and put a drop of superglue in them.

Before trying to glue just check that said item is not working its way deeper into tyre, i pick bits out of my tyres every 2 weeks or so. Bits of glass, flint metal ect so well worth checking first.

Plus 1. Not sure I see any point of the glue. It takes a big cut to actually work bigger and all you are doing putting superglue in your tyre is adding something hard and sharp!

I definitely wouldnt put superglue in my tyres.

Current set are on 2,700 and are near to being replaced, various cuts and holes but still fairly puncture resistant.
