Anyone used the Conti Alu cement on their carbon rims?

Is it ok to do so? Or a big no no?

Thanks

It's probably due to the alloy version of the cement having a more aggressive solvent base which could attack the carbon
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

I believe Conti say their Carbon specific cement is able to withstand higher temperatures generated with braking on a carbon brake surface.
Their Carbon stuff seems thinner and easier to apply than the std stuff plus Conti recommend a totally different gluing method between the two (have a look on their website for the 2 methods)
It uses one layer of glue on the rim only and 2 on the tub, i ve used this method and it works just fine and makes cleaning the rim for a new tub much much easier - the tub/rim bond is very strong, so dont worry about that.

Before conti launched the Carbon specific stuff, their cement was used on both types of rim.

Maybe some of them do??? I use tape and it's a whole lot less messy than glue and a whole lot easier to mount tires. Works for me.
