Lightweight Saddlebag Alternative

Using a drybag as a lightweight saddlebag is the topic of the latest post on the audaxing blog. Riders on audax like to have a nice big saddle bag but a generic drybag can be a cheaper, lighter and more waterproof different way of doing it
In a sense there is no point in doing this for weight saving (even though it probably will) as the bag will contain lots of heavy stuff. Also it's nothing compared to the vast bulk of the person on the bike
Anyway, drybags are great and worth considering for bike luggage

That's the kind of micro version of what I have. I guess that would be big enough for a tube, levers CO2 inflator etc0 -
Yes, that size is the medium - the larger version you get all of the essentials in with space to spare. Does have a clip but you need to use some kind of strap as well. At £3.50 or whatever they are - if someone put a brand name on it - would be £15 plus.0
