Would a frame like this:

be unsuitable for singletrack? Bearing in mind I'd like a bike to do some jumps on but also able to go to cannock/llandegla.
Cheers

As long as you can get the seat post high enough for seated riding it will do the job.0

Will it not be a problem with the majority of dirt jump bikes then if I just buy a longer seat tube then?0

They won't be as comfy as a xc bike but you will get round, I have a DMR which I swap seatpost on depending on if im hitting the jumps or doing a trail centre, it works.
Just make sure the seatpost is inserted to the min mark and you should be fine, also depending on the frame you may not get the seat low enough for jumping, but again I think you should be fine.0
