Do you have to use that place? I'm not sure whether the right words are rip off merchants or simply thieves.
Bike seems very expensive for the spec.

i personally wouldn't be happy paying that much for that, pretty poor spec wise, you can get so much more for that money elsewhere, obviously you don't have much choice, unless you can finance something yourself elsewhere

Looks pretty damn poor for the money, though you can go for pretty much anything on that cyclescheme. I had a BMX...... 'nuff said

Difference is at Paul's you can get an older model, with much better spec, even cheaper.

Or for about half the price, a very usable bike.

I am a bit of a Pauls fan - bargains to be had if they've got the right size.
They also do Cyclescheme and finance.
Pity you can't use them, but you'd probably do better taking a cheaper bike on finance anyway.

i was kinda in same boat as you, what i was looking at for my 1k the full sussers were poor spec.i opted to raise cash and buy a rockridder 9.1 full suss, far better components than anything i could see for 1k.
    i love the bike....

i have the 2011 sensor 4 and its a great bike but i wouldnt have paid the full £1000 asking price for it or even the £1200 they charge now , however i saw mine in my local bike shop at xmas reduced to £750 and for that price it was a steal.

Great bike though and 1 of the few full suss bikes not to suffer from pedal bob and therefore doesnt need a rear shock with pro pedal etc .
The frames great and im going to upgrade components as they wear out which ive already done with a few and mine now runs a double chainset and slx brakes.

Hi All, Sensor is a good bike! the only to issues for me are, it is a little on the heavy side but to be honest you don't notice too much while riding but it can be a pain when lifting onto a roof mounted cycle carrier! second issue is the rear shock, I thought it was a great bike until i upgraded the rear shock to an RP23, what a difference! This transforms the bike! I did try to do my bit and write a short review which is still on this site if that helps. If you're anywhere near S Wales I'm about to sell mine, still in VGC, just a couple of cosmetic marks and a slightly bent rear brake lever. £600 if anyone's interested.
