Canyon Nerve MR

Has anyone any experience of one of these. I'm a born again MBR with no great desire for absolute speed or throwing the bike around. I ride lumpy tracks uphill to get to not too steep downhill runs (blue ?) with the odd lumpy, steppy technical bit, also a few medium (red I suppose) drops. Do you think one of these would do the trick. Just liked the VFM, bit worried about the standover height though- they seem very high and I would like to avoid banks to personal bits. Any advice, thanks.

Thanks,
Deep down that's what I was thinking. I saw an ad for an MR but went to buy another bike. That fell through, so I'm thinking again about the MR advertised. It could be an expensive mistake.0 -
the marathon bike is something that will be fast, but kill you if you get it wrong. euro marathon bikes are a very "ride fast, hang on for your life and fix it every week" type job. very lycra clad high saddles brigade.
the xc would suit you better.0
