Pulled a MASSIVE thorn out of my Rubber Queen earlier....the thing is now flat as a pancake and jets wheelmilk out of the tyre like a catherine wheel when you try and inflate it.
Any ideas for sealing a slightly larger hole??

Tyre patch maybe? Either duct tape or one of the tyre boots from parktools

Well...this did seal ok in the end. And initially it took two days to go down (I rode on sunday without noticing the thorn). But this thing was huge and about 1/2cm in diameter....so when I did pull it out there was a bit of a hole in the tyre.
I converted from tubes because I used to puncture very regularly....a combination of pinch flats and foreign bodies in the tyres. In 3 years of riding a couple of times a week I've now suffered 4 flats - 2 of which I didn't have to treat, or even realise I had, when on the trails.
So I'll be sticking with tubeless.0 -
get a tubeless repair kit for really big holes that the goop has trouble with
