Hi,

I'm looking at this frame: http://flyxii.com/products_1.asp?menuid=308&id=1061. I can sort a complete Ultegra / Rival build with Deda mid range finishing kit and a 1500g wheel set for £979.50.

My friend ordered a frame from the firm and they were excellent, weighed less than claimed and rides sweet with no flex. His bike has now done 2400 miles with no problems at all.

They only stock up to 56 with the 300mm aero post included.. I'm currently riding a Boardman Pro in 57.5 with 58cm top tube but it's too long for me. I have 34" legs but am only 6'. I have put an in-line post and 100mm stem on the Boardman which has improved things a bit but would rather downsize and get a good fit.

I understand about compact geometry having ridden mountain bikes for 15 years (I get away with an 18" and loads of post), I'm a bit concerned that the 56 listed is too 'compact' - I will only get 200mm ish from the post and the seat tube is listed as 500mm, a total of 700mm. My CB is at 750 with a Arione fitted.

I have a CAAD4 on a turbo in 56 and the top tube is perfect with a 100mm stem, 150cm head tube and some spacers - 5mm clearance knee to bar and a healthy but not stupid amount of post, I think the seat tube is 56cm..

Thanks

Steve
