Looking for a new helmet and trying to find out the fit if the Kask as nowhere round here stocks them.

I wear a Bell Volt at the minute coz its the only helmet that will fit my massive head!!
I am a 63 cm but oval in shape so not many helmets fit........trust me I have tried most of them!!

Does anyone know if the fit of the Kask is circular or more oval?..........because of the shape of my head I get real bad pressure points if the helmet is a tight fit.

Hope you can help and advise.

    Hi Andy,

I have a Vertigo. Great helmet and the rotating fit system is fantastic. It's definitely more oval than round. I have a pin head though and the medium is a good fit.
I got mine in a deal on ebay last year for about £95 new. Have a look on there for any deals. Velobrands are the main distributor for Kask in the UK.
I'd also consider the mojito. It's a bit cheaper but more profiled than the vertigo and gets good reviews. Think I may get one next year.
  • Kask helmets usually come in one size which is multi adaptable to almost all head shapes. Although 63cm is rather large.

Planet X have some great deals on at the moment. Both Team Sky styles at about half price £65-£88.

You could order one and try it, if its no good send it back under distance selling regulations, max cost to you is return postage.

That's got to be a major plus not having to haul all that extra weight around out on the bike

I just purchased one from PX, I have a 58cm head and can just about squeeze into a size M Giro Prolite, but the size M vertigo fits me perfectly if that helps (probably not...).

As an aside, the adjustment and gel padding on the helmet make it very comfy.

    Beautiful helmets.

I have a Vertigo on the way to replace my K10.

25 mph off on Saturday. Landed on back of head. Did it's job perfectly.

Does anyone know if the fits of teh models are different.

Finding it hard to find a retailer so may have to go and Wiggle it and send it back if it dont fit.

My head is a 62cm but oval!!........front to back??

Is the Vertigo massively different from the K10??

    Cheers
