Have a set of shimano deore m596 brakes fitted on my bike , and wanted to know if anybody can recommend a new set of pads as I don't like the standard organic pads that come as standard.
They have hardly any bite until they warm up , maybe I should go for a set of sintered can anyone recommend them? Or any others ? :?

Sintered take even longer to warm up and have less bite than organic, so this will not solve your problem.0

I've been using (Superstar) Organics on my M525's and I can stop on a penny from the off."Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes

You might need to look at how the brakes are set up, or if your organic pads (or your disks) are contaminated. I have a pretty new set of M596s with the OE pads, and they're easily up to locking either wheel while still being perfectly controllable. The pads may be the problem, but it's probably not the compound they're made ofSpecialized Roubaix Elite 2015
