I bought my first Turbo Trainer last year based on recommendations on this forum.
I went for the Cycle-Ops Jet Fluid Pro, and what a fantastic trainer it is, it feels very smooth with a very 'road like' feel to it.
I bought my Mrs the Minoura B60 a few months ago after reading some really good reviews of it, and athough my Mrs likes it, i tried it, and it isn't in the same league as the Jet Fluid Pro, it feels a bit intermittent/hesistant/just not as smooth rolling, and doesn't feel like you are on the road, you know you are on a trainer, whereas with the Fluid Pro you can loose yourself in music or videos and think you are literally out on the road it feels that good....but then it was about double the price of the Minoura! My Road Bike:-
