when cleaning / lubing my chain do i do anything to the gears as well?
i know i am to keep them clear etc.. but am i supposed to use the same chain lube (mine is Finish Line Teflon Plus Dry Chain Lube) and use that on the gears to, or am i best keeping the gears themselves clean and clear only? or can i just simply spray GT85 on the gears and leave it at that?
i read somewhere that any lube on the gears can actualy cause issues and to just lube the chain then take any access lube off.
can anyone tell me which is best?
thanks

No lube on cogs. Just chain. A drop of lube on pivot point of the mech is good.0
