Trek 29er question

I am looking to get a 29er and my work uses Evans for the cycle to work scheme.
I like the look of the Trek X-Calibre or the Trek Superfly AL Elite. Is the £500 worth the price difference in terms of the frame? After 2 years you are really left with just the frame, so I want to make a good choice.
Also for all day riding there seems to be negative reviews about the stiffness of the superfly frame - anyone with first hand experience?
Thanks for your time
Tom

Have you got the links to the exact bikes?0

The frame is a little stiffer and lighter, but I don't see the package been worth £500 more. I'd say the fork on the cheaper bike was actually better.0

Thanks for the feedback.
There is another option for a middle price of £1300 - any thoughts?

I think the cheaper one of the three is the best buy.0
