Are there any quality full suspension bikes no more than £1000 and a bit? e.g a good £1099
Or is that impossible. Preferably light and with a good front fork, for single trails and good riding. :{0

Boardman team full suspension. Use quico and get a discount aswell. If you worried about halfords, have your lbs build it for £30ish.0

Thanks for the replies, any recommendations?0

Yes, the one I linked to ;-)
Great frame and suspension, and quality kit, though the Boardman is excellent too.0 -
That is a decent deal. Tempting.I don't do smileys.

The anthem X5 for £899 is a very good deal.
It depends what type of riding you do also. The Anthem is only 100mm travel, whereas the Boardman is 130mm (from memory).0 -
I'm also looking at anthem x5, although the gearing is low spec the frame is the same as the x1 so you can always upgrade parts later on and the rear shock and forks ain't that bad either.0

The Anthem is a great bike - very fast. I much prefer it to the other Giant FS frames myself. I'd go for that & upgrade parts as the old ones wear out or break.'Happiness serves hardly any other purpose than to make unhappiness possible' Marcel Proust.0
