Hi folks

I currently use RidewithGPS to map my routes and download to my Edge 800... I was wondering if Garmin have their own software/website to do this as I am struggling to locate anything...

I have downloaded the training centre, but from an initial look this is purely to download rides and training data, after I have ridden...

If Garmin have no such thing, can anyone recommend any site/tool that is better than RidewithGPS to do this job...

Many thx

Garmn have both mapsource and basecamp specifically for route planning.

    Have a look here; http://connect.garmin.com/

You can plot routes, upload them to your Egde800, then when you're ridden the route, download it back to the site and look at your stats.

It's exactly what I use with my Edge800, it works a treat.

I do rather like bikeroutetoaster......a little less polished than some others, but works really well, especially the summary and route profile.

I use GPSies for planning, must admit it was slightly better when you could use google maps, but I think they lost the licence or something.
